The Eight Branches Emerging Practitioner Scholarship offers $500 to $2,000 to new, full-time students starting in Spring 2025 at Eight Branches College of Eastern Medicine who excel academically or in community service.
Applicants must submit a video or essay detailing their achievements and aspirations in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Eight Branches offers different programs for Canadian and US students, as well as two offerings for delivery method.
Students must choose their delivery format as well as our Canadian or USA program depending on where students intend to practice upon graduation.
Students enrolled in the Hybrid Acupuncture & Moxibustion Diploma Program have hybrid semesters, meaning that each semester students have online and in-person classes and clinics for the duration of their studies.
Students enrolled in the Split-Hybrid Acupuncture & Moxibustion Diploma Program have the flexibility to begin the program entirely online and complete their in-person practical classes in their second or third year during a 5-month intensive period in Toronto. The timing of these in-person courses will depend on their term of enrolment, but all practical courses will fall within 5 months in the spring and summer semesters.

Both programs qualify graduates to write the Pan-Canadian regulatory examinations and to become a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac).

The USA Acupuncture & Moxibustion Diploma Program is recognized by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, NCCAOM. The NCCAOM offers credentials to our graduates and the NCCAOM exam is used in 47 states (all except New York, California and Illinois).
We provide Allied Therapies and Eastern bodywork based on concepts in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for balancing Qi and blood in the meridians.
This treatment in focused on Chinese Herb prescriptions. Please note that during the treatment you may receive 15 minutes of allied therapies such as acupuncture, moxibustion, cupping, guasha, and tuina depending on your treatment plan.
